The heat is upon us, and power outages. It happens far more often than we like…triple digit weather wilting both the plants and people alike, and a fully stocked fridge full of popsicles left melting in the wake of yet another power outage. And if the fourth of July weekend has taught us anything, it’s that we never know how long the power is going to be out. With odds like that, it’s no wonder people are stacking the deck in their favor by installing generators or solar with batteries. Whether you want a generator, solar ro energy storage systems, you will need to submit your plans to the Environmental Control Committee for approval.
For your convenience, you can submit all projects online at:
https://www.pinemountainlake.com/ecc-project-submittal-process/
The committee will want a plot plan showing the exact location and dimensions of the solar, generator or battery (including all setbacks and septic), and the Tuolumne County permit. While the power outages will never come at a convenient time, I think we all recognize that doing our part to help mitigate fire hazards is incredibly important. That being said, parts of generators can get hot, so it is especially important to keep all flammable materials away from your generator—make sure all dead vegetation is removed around your generator. As always, I am here to help walk you through every step of the submission process. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. ecc@pinemountainlake.com
I do not sell, buy, trade or install used automatic transfer switches, inverters, generators, solar panels, batteries, regulators or electrical/propane parts. Equipment and parts are ordered from OEM or their authorized distributors. I do not repair equipment installed by other contractors. Quality installations and prompt local warranty service are a sales advantage. I fully support my existing customers with a Service Agreement and new customers.
